Located in scenic southwestern Pennsylvania, III Software LLC has a long track record of providing products, custom solutions and consulting services to our clients. Our clients and solutions cover a wide range of industries including banking, brokers, charities, education, fraternal organizations, health care, manufacturing, municipal services, retail, electronic billing (eBill), electronic payments (ePay) and many more.

History
Founded in 1983 during the infancy of the PC revolution, III Software was an early provider of PC-only solutions that small to mid-sized companies could afford. As the industry matured through the 80s and early 90s, III Software kept pace, releasing versions of our applications that embraced the technologies that became industry standards.

In the early 90's, III Software focused our efforts on migrating our existing character-mode, DOS applications to Microsoft Windows.

From the mid to late 90's, we began to offer Internet-enabled versions of select applications, using stable technologies and proven platforms. Our applications were re-engineered to retain their power, flexibility and stability while adding a browser-based interface. Our experience in securing data on local area networks was extended and enhanced to provide extremely high levels of protection to any sensitive information exposed to the Internet.

Today and the Future
The new millennium offered a chance to both reflect on our past and envision new opportunities for the future. With such a large inventory of applications and a wealth of industry experience, we began the task of turning our applications into standardized products which could be offered as web services. By offering hosted versions of our products, clients benefit from our rock-solid solutions without the overhead of additional infrastructure, servers, maintenance, manpower, security, expense and all the other issues related to e-commerce.
